Jane's bad night

Jane knew she was going to drink, so she took an Uber to the bar where she was to meet Linda. The bar was popular for people between the ages of 30 and 50, and it had a good crowd. Linda was already there and was finishing off her first drink. Jane walked up to Linda, and they hugged. Their faces going over each other's shoulders. As they pulled away, Jane noticed Linda had a strange look on her face as if she had smelled something bad. "Problem?"

"Um, it's nothing," said Linda. A waitress came up. "Another tequila sunrise," said Linda.

"Cosmopolitan," said Jane.

The two talked and drank. Linda seemed determined to tie one on. "Geez, Linda, what's up with you?"

"I just wanna get T-rashed! It's been since college."

A couple of handsome men in their forties came up and asked if they could join the ladies, and the women agreed.

The men sat down and introduced themselves. The man sitting closest to Jane seemed a little annoyed, but he **** a smile and kept talking. Linda flirted by flipping her hair and leaning closer. "Um, if you excuse me," the man said. He got up and walked off.

"Well that was rude," said Jane. She looked over at the tipsy Linda who was flirting with her man. Jane sullenly sipped her drink.

When Jane went to the bathroom, she checked herself in the mirror. The bathroom was crowded, and when a woman squeezed past her to get out, Jane saw in the mirror the woman stop, look at Jane's head, scrinch up her nose then walk on. Jane pulled a handful of hair under her nose and smelled it. "Oh my god!" she said. She could finally smell her hair. It smelled like urine.

She went back to the table where Linda, now drunk was making out with her man. She knew she could not leave her friend in this state, so she convinced Linda to come home with her.

A half an hour later, Jane helped a drunk Linda into the house. Linda was leaning up against Jane.

"You knows, Jane," said the drunk Linda. "I shhhould tell you now, but your hair smells like pish."

Jane was livid. "I know! But how?"

Rebecca was on the couch. "I think I know how," she said, waving her phone in her hand.
