Leah rolled her eyes as she decided she wouldn’t be following Mr. Bill to his little hideaway for “dessert.” She wasn’t in the mood to satisfy his craving and was ready for some normalcy instead. She planned on spending her lunch break with friends at the teacher's table, indulging in light-hearted gossip instead of his idea of a lunchtime treat. She had managed to avoid him for a while now, and she wondered how long his patience would last before he pushed for another encounter. Maybe she could squeeze in a few more days of peace before he insisted again. She just hoped it would not make him to break his silence.

The rest of the day went rather uneventfully.
