Jan. Week 4: Tuesday Evening with Jonathan...Confronted!
Jonathan was sitting at the kitchen table. His face had a look on it that she had never really seen before. She knew something was up.
"Uh....hey babe....everything okay?" she said as she placed her purse and keys on the kitchen counter.
"Why don't you tell me?" he said with a sneer. Jonathan didn’t even bother to meet her eyes at first, just watched her set her purse down, his hands knotted into trembling fists on the tabletop. He made a visible effort to swallow whatever was burning his throat, then looked up at her through lids heavy with accusation.
"What are you talking about?" Leah asked anxiously.
"You know what I am talking about." He said, his face strained with emotion.
"I....I really don't--what is going on?" Leah asked her voice timid, she forced a smile, or maybe it was more of a grimace.
"You are cheating on me. WHY!?" he demanded, his voice cracking with anger mixed with sadness.
“Jonathan—What? No—you—you’re not making any sense, I—”
He cut her off, voice hoarse, desperate for blood.
“Don’t lie to me! I saw the texts. All the late nights. All the excuses.” He jabbed a finger in the air, as if puncturing an imagined bubble. “I know you’re cheating on me. WHY!?”
Memories of Leah's infidelity came rushing back into her mind--like the cum that rushed down her throat or deep inside her or all over here. Her eyes began to water. She knew the game was up. Nothing could cause her to resist his glare. Her heart broke into a thousand pieces.
"I'm so sorry." She began to sob, her ugly cry face told Jonathan everything he already knew. He began to cry to in anger and rage.
"I can't fucking believe you!" He yelled through his tears "We were going to get married! I loved you!"
"I love yo-"
"Don't even FUCKING say that!" he cut her off injured that she could even consider telling him that lie. "I am out of here. You better be fucking gone tomorrow. You cheating bitch..." his last words weak as he uttered through clenched fist as he moved from the table and passed her. Leah tried to grab his arms amid her sobs but he continued on through the door and out to his car.
Leah saw his headlights vanish--and all hope of her happiness.
