Jan. Week 2: Monday: Planning Period-Leah Reject's Nate and goes to see SRO Roberts (Silence: -25 Nate)

“Nathan, I am afraid I just can't,” she said, her voice syrupy sweet “but I have something very important this period. An administrative meeting. It’s about school safety. Principal’s orders.” She layered the lie with a heap of weary authority, hoping he’d take the out. Technically, it wasn't exactly a lie...about meeting with SRO Roberts.Nathan frowned, but only for a second.

“Oh, uh, yeah. Safety’s important. Is it about the vape sensors? Or the, like, fights in the cafeteria?” He wanted to learn the tea even if he couldn't get his rocks off.

“Something like that,” Leah replied, already sidestepping toward her classroom door, shepherding him with her body language. “I need to go meet with the School Resource Officer right now, actually. Officer Roberts.” She dropped the name like a talisman, hoping it would ward off further questions.

“Roberts is cool. But, uh, maybe I could just wait in your room until you get back? I’ve got some homework I could do, and it’d be, like, super chill.” He blinked with the stubbornness of a dog who’s convinced you’re about to throw the ball one more time.

"I'm sorry its probably going to take my whole planning." she gave him a consoling touch on the arm.

"I hear ya Miss Williams." he turned sullen and headed toward the restrooms. He was likely going to rub one out to the video he had found of her.

Leah breathed a sigh of relief. Surely he wouldn't say anything...she hoped.
