Jamie joins a blind study

Linda turned her head as Jamie walked in. His face was still made up from the night before and would be for a good while longer. His hair was pulled back, high on his head in a flirty ponytail, with a few curly strands hung and twisted by the side of his face. The loose top and the leggings he was given showed off his new assets in a way that screamed “sexy casual”.

“Good morning,” Linda said, getting off the couch.

“Good morning, Linda,” Jamie replied with a sweet sounding voice while noticing that there was another woman getting up from the couch as well.

“This is Dr. Wilson. I told her about last night and she wanted to speak to you,” Linda told him.

“June, please,” June said, offering him her hand.

“It's nice to meet you June. I'm thankful for any help you are willing to give. What did you have in mind?” Jamie asked, curious.

“I assume that having an additional income right now would be helpful. My...'clinic' is in need of people for a small test trial. Nothing invasive, of course,” she explained.

“What would I have to do?” Jamie asked, very interested.

“Well, you would would need to answer a few questions, take a tiny pill and maybe a few other little things here and there,” June informed him.

“Sounds simple enough. Sure, I'll participate. How do I start?” Jamie asked.

“We can start right now,” June said, sitting back down and pulling out a clipboard from a bag she had.

Jamie sat down next to her while Linda began putting breakfast together.

“To start, this is a blind study but I will need your name for our registry. What is your last name?” June asked.

“Miller,” Jamie replied.

“Jamie Miller” she wrote, followed by an F to designate Jamie as Female.

She asked him a series of personal questions that he did his best to answer. Dr. Wilson made notes and nodded as Jamie spoke, finishing up in no time at all. Once they were finished, Jamie was handed a little pill and a small bottle filled with more.

“Such a small thing, I hardly even see the point. Nothing this tiny could do anything noticeable,” he thought to himself before swallowing the powerful pill.

“Thank you very much. Here is your $200 for your first session. Keep up with your pills every morning and come into the clinic on Wednesday to continue. Based on some of he answers to your questions, I believe you are eligible to participate in more studies we are conduction. Let the secretary know when you come in if you are interested,” she told him.

June hand him $200 in cash and a business card for the clinic, which he took gratefully. With that much money for so little work, he was sure that he was going to do as many studies as he could.
