James throws the game

As the game began, James made sure to hold onto the ball each time long enough for him to get sacked by the Dingos defensive line. He even fumbled the ball allowing them to regain possession and get touchdown after touchdown and sometimes field goals after field goals. After their first time out, their coach was furious. “James what the hell is happening? You’re playing like a teenage girl!” Coach Garret shouted. “If you don’t improve by half-time I’m pulling you out of the game! You’re costing us the playoffs!”

James’s eyes widened. The score was pretty bad. It was 60-0. But James knew the stakes he was playing for. “Sorry, coach,” James said. “I’ve just had a bad night.”

And the night only got worse as James kept letting the Dingos score as much as possible. And as half-time approached, the Hornets still scored nothing. And then it was half-time and the score was 80-0.
