Chapter 136

What does Aelita tell Batman?
James has had an interesting life
“...well…” Aelita said as she looked at Gaige. “I think Gaige has the book of grudges today.” Daisy, despite the situation, gave a little giggle.
“He still has one?”
“No…,” Aelita gave a melancholy smile. “With the stuff James gets into, I started a list of people James got in arguments, fights, or other stuff with. So we know where not to go again later.” Gaige took a small notebook out of the pocket of her jacket and handed it over to Batman. Batman opened it up and started scanning the pages.
“Any one in particular do you think might want to hurt your fiance?”
“Where to start…” Ahsoka wondered out loud. “I would say most of the major casinos in particular the Albuquerque ones, James had a run-in with a city wide scamming and game rigging scheme. He did win back Katara and win Gaige but only after some extensive damage was done.”
“The perpetrators of that are still in prison and the current management is looking to put it behind them though there might still be some connections out there,” Batman noted to himself.
“The Cult of Saint Daisy has been sending **** threats every month or so,” Aelita said. “But it's more asking James to be sacrificed than anything and we just send back a rejection.”
“Those wackos are still around?” Charles asked incredulously, he thought the group was wiped out when an Eldritch Abomination version of Daisy ate them.
“A few members had resurrection insurance and survived, “ Batman informed as he continued scrolling through the list. “They are mostly harmless currently and are having a hard time putting together a service much less any plots.”
“There is the pretzel stand on third,” Gaige considered.
“What…” Batman said flatly wondering why they are bringing up a pretzel place.
“They took twenty dollars from him and didn't give him the pretzels,” Aelita explained.
“Twenty dollars?” Starfire let out a little snort of disbelief. “I assume the stand is no longer there?”
“Nope…”
“Moving on, “ Batman commanded. “Anyone else?”
“Those TV people who trapped James’ ship though they did think it was someone else’s,” Erza stated, causing Starfire’s eyes to glow as she was reminded of those who hurt James, recently.
“There was that brat that decided to set up a lemonade stand in James' yard crushing some of his flowers,” Ahsoka grimaced at the memory. “A bunch of joggers tried to beat up James when he tried to get him to leave. Thankfully Officer Jenny was on patrol and stopped them and called the kid’s parents.”
“That little shit was such a psycho, he tried setting the house on fire when Blossom showed up to help move the stand,” Gaige shook her head. “While I love a little fight against authority, he was out of control.” Batman was about to ask something but was interrupted.
“There’s also that old lady that lives down the street of the house,” Erza stated. “James is constantly rejecting her advances and she does have her own Batman who is very…impressive.”
“I will have to look into this,” Batman rolled his eyes.
“There is that one traffic cop Superman who is always hassling James whenever he crosses paths with him,” Ahsoka shrugged uselessly. “James would never explain why that Superman hates him.”
“I know why,” Starfire covered her mouth to hide her amusement, thinking of the incident involving pink kryptonite. “And I’m not telling without James.”
“That Superman has already been cleared,” Batman informed, gaining impressed and curious looks from the others.
“Okay… oh, what about those villains who took me? I did the breaking of jail and freed my fellow captives,” Starfire pointed out.
“They are a potential suspect, a larger investigation is already underway regarding them,” Batman nodded to Starfire.
“What about that Ronald McDonald over at 5th street McDonalds,” Larry suggested, causing Batman to look at him strangely. “James offered to bring some lunch for the office and the clown went berserk. James is not allowed to return via company policy.”
“Huh, usually Ronalds are friendly to everyone.”
“I almost forgot but didn’t James have a problem with that mafioso?” Daisy asked Charles, concerned.
“Yeah, he sent men after James after he deflowered three of his daughters and got caught,” Charles said matter-of-factually. “But that was a long time ago and the old guy kicked the bucket soon after.”
“I will check if anyone is still feeling offended by that,” Batman looked at Charles who clapped his hands. A ghost pokegirl faded into view.
“Please have Mary provide the name of the mafioso who threatened James to Batman,” Charles requested. The ghost pokegirl nodded and faded away again.
“I think those are the ones who stand out to me,” Aelita informs, hoping that she was able to provide useful information.
“Yeah, other than that Shaggy who was upset about not getting to have James’ fries, I can’t think of anyone standing out,” Gaige tried to think of more suspects.
“That’s right,” Ahsoka recalled that situation. “I’m still not sure why James sent him an apology basket of Scooby Snacks.”
“James got paranoid when the car broke down and then the front door fell down,” Aelita said. “He felt it was better safe than sorry.” Aelita addressed Batman. “It was the 3rd Street Franklin’s Diner.”
“Note to self, have someone check for an Ultra Instinct Shaggy,” Batman grimaced at the thought such a powerful entity was running around. “Do you mind if I save a copy of the book?” After being given the go ahead, Batman used a tool to quickly create a digital copy of the book. The ghost pokegirl returned and handed Batman a sheet of paper. “Thank you.” The pokegirl giggled and quickly left.
“I will return if I need more information,” Batman said as he started to leave. He handed Charles and Starfire a card. “Please call if you recall anything that could be relevant. Have a nice day.” Batman left the room without another word.
“I think we will take our leave now as well,” Larry and Geoff got up and gathered their things. “We will keep you updated as information comes in. We will find him.” They were soon escorted back to their car. The room was soon just filled with James’ parents, Aelita, Starfire, Erza, Ahsoka, Gaige, and Marinette who relocated to sit around the fireplace and look at each other.
“I wonder what James is doing right now,” Aelita said worriedly now that she doesn’t have something to distract her at least partially.
(POV Change)
“I got to say, this was the sixth best orgy I’ve been in,” you say as Black Canary snuggled you on your left with Diana snuggling your right. Gogo was warming your dick as she rested against your chest. The Loona, the Tetramand princess from Ben 10, was somewhere over your head and one of her breasts was awkwardly slapped against your forehead. The rest of the tribe of female characters were exhausted and sleeping off the orgy around you on the floor or nearby tables.
“Just a little more,” you say under your breath as you go for the hairpin of the bunny eared girl from earlier. You nearly had the pin in your grasp when the main doors of the cafeteria turned tribe village/den opened and another group of characters came in.
“Looks like Alpha shift managed to tire themselves out,” said the large leader of the new crowd. “Let's show them how it's done.” You looked in horror at the group that arrived, especially the identity of the leader of this group.
Who is the leader of the new group?
