James gets home

At around 5pm that day James gets home to find the house strangely empty, “ where’s Emily? Where’s my dad? Wtf?”

He tried calling them both but no answer or any response to his texts until he gets to the kitchen.

There’s a note…it’s from Emily.

“James,

I don’t really know what to say but here it goes…I’m breaking up with you…you do not value me as much as I think you should…your dad has offered me a place to stay for now…please do not contact me or him. I am fine I’m just not going to be with you anymore…my legal representative will be in touch regarding the house.

James tried to call Emily again but this time his number was blocked…same for his father…James couldn’t get his around it.

He drove to his fathers place but no answer… “what’s just happened?” He thought to himself.
