James POV

James looked at the message again and still didn't have a clue what Rebecca was talking about in her message. She was obviously pretty unhinged and he felt like he had dodged a real bullet by breaking things off early. Still, the techno-witch line bothered him. Was she some kind of tech genius who has managed to remotely install an app on his phone? An app that was supposed to allow people to control and even change him in any way they could imagine? Obviously that was impossible.

He decided not to worry about it and watch some television for now. It might help distract him from the crazy lady who was threatening him with virtual curses. He was fiddling with the remote and trying to find the streaming app he wanted when all of a sudden his clothes vanished. All of them. He was just sat naked on his couch holding the video remote.

James jumped up in a panic. Had Rebecca's app done this? And if so how? At the moment he was alone at his place but his friend Melanie was coming over in a while. The married one who he had always had a bit of a thing for. If something like this, or worse happened while she was over it would not be good. He decided he would text her to cancel soon, then investigate this app and see if he could get it removed from service. First though, he needed to redress. He dashed through to his bedroom, grateful the curtains were at least drawn shut, and threw on some more clothes as quickly as he could. Almost immediately, they vanished, leaving him naked again. A horrible thought crossed James's mind - was someone watching him? Was it Rebecca? Some random stranger who had downloaded the app. He really did need to call Melanie right now, then he would try and find a way to shut down the app or even call Rebecca and apologise if he needed to.

He was just walking back to get his phone when suddenly he found himself imitating a chicken, just like someone in a stage show but also naked. Until whoever was making him do this got bored of it then he wasn't going to be able to accomplish any of his urgent tasks. Hopefully they would stop him doing this before long. But even if they did, what else might they do to him, or make him next?
