James was baffled. What had he done to Rebecca? He didn't play with her heart. He had simply told her that they weren't a good fit. He was about to text her so when he noticed that his fingers had changed. They looked flat and pixelated. In fact, his whole arm, no, his whole body looked the same way. He could tell that he was still three dimensional, but looking down at himself, he looked completely flat. He looked like a retro video game character!

Man, this would be so cool if it weren't permanent. Maybe he could convince Rebecca to not leave him like this? His phone buzzed, signaling a new text.
