Jade returns

It's a good thing that the only person who'd stayed over last night was Jinx, she woke up to find Jade sitting in a nearby chair. I had been awake for a little while but hadn't even heard Jade come in, she seemed to enjoy sneaking around and surprising people. Jinx had let out a little scream of surprise, before calming down at least. Jade and Jinx having the chance to talk and hang out just the two of them. I went off to help with getting breakfast made, well... More like Jade gently pushed me out the room so she could talk to Jinx, to be honest.

Speaking of breakfast, have you ever seen wind, fire and earth elementals work together to make pancakes? The wind elemental is basically a green and white adolescent penguin using fine wind manipulation to move ingredients where they need to go, think like Fantasia. The Earth elemental looking like a chimp made out of solid rock was handling the utensils while the fire elemental, a garden snake that looked like partially cooled magma, was keeping everything heated just well enough with creative application and shorts bursts of fire breathing technique. It's at this moment I realize my life has certainly taken an unexpected turn even since the incident in Gotham...

After breakfast, YES I AM going to skim over that adorable menagerie cooking segment. Jinx and Jade came out wearing surprisingly less than I was expecting, little more than negligee's as apparently they had decided that they both wanted to spend time with me for a date, preferably with me stuck between them while we just had a nice day inside. It took a few phone calls for me to make sure things would run smoothly without me for the business day, which was really just me talking to Ultron about helping to get the office repaired and upping it's security protections. Ultron also informed me that they had thought of a way to weaponize bureaucracy, AKA paperwork to give Waller some new lines on her face from stress. Needless to say my response was simple. "Don't let her know who's to blame. Also? Make sure it's in triplicate. Mental warfare should be thorough after all."

With the order given, I could swear it sounded like Ultron was almost gleefully happy about what they were setting out to do. I was now free to devote my entire day to spending time with Jinx and Jade however. So the three of us spent the next few hours simply snuggled together, cuddling, talking, relaxing on the couch while either reading or watching some TV. Jinx and Jade both at one point discussing what my plan for Devourius was, with that came a revelation for Jinx as to just what I was starting to gather and train such powerful people for. It would take time, and I certainly didn't want to make this day that was meant for them to be about the long term goals of the plan. They appreciated that quite a bit apparently, as it earned me a kiss from both of them.

By the time lunch came around, Jade was asking me about possible renovations for the place. "I mean I could definitely turn this place into a much nicer building to say the least, but there's no need. I have a place currently being built that is going to be more of a long term home. It would be finished sooner if I automated the process, though that would cost me quite a bit more money..." As if on cue, the universe seemed to notify me.

NEW MISSION AVAILABLE! Objectives:
1: Upgrade building your currently living in.
2: Automate process of long term home construction.
3: Purchase additional space under current building, for manufacturing purposes.

"Huh... That's a surprise." Jinx said looking over my shoulder, Jade's head resting on my other shoulder as they both read what I was seeing. Jade followed it up with telling me to go ahead and handle my mission, saying that she and Jinx would be waiting for me in the bedroom. Not sure what to expect by this point, I simply went ahead and dealt with the mission quick as I could. The automation process of the construction would increase the noise a bit, but it would mostly be hidden from prying eyes. As for the current building, that would take a bit more time and a couple of calls. A transfer or two of more money than the place was worth and I secured ownership of the building as well as the land under it, allowing my powers to connect to the building and allow me to begin the upgrading process not simply for my part of the building, but for EVERY part of it. The other tenants wouldn't even notice everything being improved as none of the major improvements would take place for sometime, allowing them to be able to relocate into a temporary alternate living space. I went ahead and offered to pay for them all to stay at hotel's in the city while the improvements and repairs were being done.

"So that'll take a bit of time, but the good news is it'll get done fairly quickly." I explained as I walked back into the bedroom, only to see Jinx and Jade both in some VERY nice dresses that caused my brain to reboot for a minute, as well as gave me a new appreciation for green and purple. When I was able to blink my focus back on them, they were both smirking at me. I found myself getting a bit dressed up, the plan for us to have a date night. First up? A movie before we would have ourselves a nice dinner. The trip to the theater, the movie itself was all thankfully unproblematic. The movie, which turned out to be a film that was both relaxing and funny, there were even larger chairs that allowed us to even be able to snuggle up.

Following that we went to a nice place for dinner, ordered our food, talked for a nice little while. Even a few jokes were shared, we headed back to our current living space and then... Just before we were about to head to bed... I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I apologized to Jinx and Jade before stepping away a moment, though they did hear my first words for whoever had just called me. "If this isn't an emergency..." I said into the phone, getting further away and making sure my voice was low enough to not be heard. I promptly received a response from the Bat themed hero on the other end...
