Chapter 266

Back in the Eagle Nest…
Jackson’s drunk
Time passed on and the realisation that Dixon was nowhere to be seen had set in for Mark. The whole night had been what he considered a waste.
As he roamed around, frustrated, he was caught off guard by Jess and Ali who appeared from behind him.
“Well hey there stud, how’s your secret mission going?” Jess asked him sarcastically, “Anything to report back to our fearless leader?”
Mark just shook his head, a little frustrated with how the night was going, “No, not at all. Jackson’s fucked so I’m on my own, I’ve already lost Dixon and the girls couldn’t get anything out of Z.”
“We could just call it a night,” Ali suggested, “There’s not many girls here, we’ve already been able to get rid of most of them.”
“Ali, it’s Saturday Night,” Jess said as she pulled her phone out to check the time, “It’s not even eleven o’clock yet, we’re not going to bed.”
“You can stay out, I think I’m done,” Ali finally admitted.
She said goodbye to both Jess and Mark as she headed to the door.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to walk you back?” Mark asked her.
“It’s okay Mark, I’ll be fine,” she smiled before giving him a peck of the cheek before heading home.
He wasn’t so sure about letting her walk alone after every time that had happened recently but it may have been the boy just over thinking everything. Mark was seriously stressed out, knowing he had achieved nothing tonight and wouldn’t be able to impress Tiffany. He wouldn’t admit it but a part of him was just desperate to look heroic or smart in front of her by solving everything himself.
“Why so tense?” Jess asked him, looking at the way he was stressing out.
He didn’t know how to say it but he was just overwhelmed. The easy answer was justice, getting justice for the girls was important but the longer this went on, the more desperate he was to end it.
“Argh I dunno, just nothing is going right,” he told her.
She looked up at him, her darker hair slicked back in a cute ponytail, “Don’t get too caught up on this, I know you care and it shows how good of a person you are but don’t let it get to you.”
He smiled, thinking about how the tables had turned from their last big chat.
“I like that you’re giving me advice now,” he said.
She giggled, rubbing her hand playfully on his chest, “I have to say, I much rather giving out advice than taking it… I rather take other things.”
As she said that last sentence, she looked down directly at Mark’s crotch. He knew it straight away and felt his body tingle a little, his cock stirring in his jeans.
“You do huh?” he smirked.
She just nodded, biting down on her bottom lip, grabbing his softly by the chin before whispering to him, “Mhmm… now don’t stare at my ass too much as I get myself another drink…”
Jess then gave him one singular kiss on the lips before winking at him and walking away. Mark smirked as he confidently broke that promise, watched her tight ass as looked to find something to drink, she was so incredibly sexy even when she did such common and normal tasks.

Half an hour later…
Mark was prepared to get out of the Eagle Nest, the night had been a waste and besides a couple of minutes talking to Jess, there was nothing left here for him.
Before he could get out of here however, he noticed that there was an even bigger group around Jackson and Bryce again. This time they were a lot louder and from a distance away, he could see through the gaps of heads of what was happening there.
“Oh shit…” he muttered.
Jackson was standing there, his hands all over Shay’s body as she sucked his face with kisses. All around him was Bryce and other male jocks, cheering him on.
He couldn’t believe what he was seeing, somehow they had gotten him drunk enough to be down for a little public show of action. Mark didn’t bother to try and pull his cousin away, he was old enough to learn from his mistakes. The only thing that concerned him was yet another reason for people to remember what happened with Mark, Tiffany and Winter last year.
As he looked on from a distance, he felt a tap on the shoulder. Turning around, he got a bit of a fright to see Winter standing there,
“Hey Mark,” Winter said, “We’ve got some bad news.”
Straight away he knew what she was talking about. He didn’t need her to explain, Z had already been here so he knew exactly what had happened. The concern was whether or not Miranda was here, if she walked in, she would see what his cousin was up to which would be disastrous for everyone involved.
“Where’s Mir…”
The busty blonde appeared out of nowhere, coming up behind Winter, joining the two of them.
“Shit show Mark,” she pouted, “He may be six feet tall but he’s such a little bitch… so whiny.”
“Ohh uh yeah, i agree with you on that,” he said, trying to turn them around, “We should probably just get out of here, shouldn’t we?”
He was trying to hurry them out of here but telling Miranda to do something was always a little more complicated than that. She stopped, holding her feet as she looked over Mark’s shoulder to see what was happening.
“Where’s Jackson at?” she then asked Mark with a serious look on her face.
He stayed mute at first.
“Where’s Jackson, Mark…” she asked again, this time in a more intimidating voice.
He didn’t say anything, he didn’t want to verbally rat out his cousin like that. Mark didn’t need to, all Miranda had to do was look at the crowd of boys and see what was happening in the middle of them. She pushed Mark aside as she realised what might be happening.
“This is not going to end well,” he whispered to Winter as Miranda stormed ahead of them.
Winter just looked confused, it wasn’t until she heard the blonde’s loud voice that she knew what was happening. Miranda had pushed right through the crowd of people, confronting Jackson.
“Jackson!! You Jerk!” she shouted.
She sure wasn’t afraid to make a scene.
The tall boy let go off the slutty girl in front of him, rocking from side to side due to how much alcohol he had consumed. His eyesight was blurry but not blurry enough to see the blonde girl in front of him, hands on her hips.
“I’m… I’m…” he stuttered.
Stepping in for him was Bryce but not the way he would have liked him too.
“Oh Jackson… you didn’t say you had something close with Miranda… why would you break that?”
His sarcastic comments didn’t go far with Miranda, “Just shut up Bryce.
She was currently looking Jackson in the eye, bitterly disappointed and upset. Watching the way he moved and how drunk he truly was, Miranda knew any dialogue would be a waste of her time.
Calmly, she took a red plastic cup out of one of the guy’s hands from behind her and raised it above Jackson’s head before tipping the beer all over him.
“Pathetic…” she mumbled before dropping the cup to the ground and walking back out of the Eagle Nest.
From the sidelines, Mark felt for Miranda, something that had bee quite rare in the past.
The night had been a disaster, Mark threw in the towel right there and then, he left the room with Miranda and Winter.
Forget about this, tomorrow would be another day.
Who’s still awake?
