Jack wakes up just in time.

"JAAACK! GET UP!" He hears his sister yell at him from downstairs.

Jack rolls over and checks his phone. He slept through his alarm. He quickly throws on some clothes rushes downstairs and grabs a muffin.

"Jack get in!" His sister was already waiting in her car. He had his own but he wanted to make it to school on time.

"Thanks Beth," He said a little out of breath. "You couldn't have woken me up a little earlier maybe?"

"Sorry I was bust getting ready I didn't think about it till I came downstairs and saw your car in the driveway," she said as she pulled out of the driveway and started driving to school.

Jack checks his phone, he had gotten a text from Zelle.

Beth parks the car and Jack runs inside and makes it into homeroom as soon as the bell rings. He just barely made it. His homeroom teacher Ms. Ambers starts talking about the new year ahead of them. Jack starts looking around the room.
