Jack Declines

While Jack could see the benefit of getting his first tasting out of the way, he simply wished to postpone it for as long as possible.

“Um thank you for the offer, but I think I’ll be fine” he replied timidly. “Very well, it’s your decision to make after all, just make sure to remember your training and uphold our standards at this restaurant. Should you have any other questions or concerns please be sure to speak with me during business hours. Now I suggest you make your way to the prep room and begin your first day here. Have a good day”. She quickly rose from her seat and made her way through the restaurant, leaving Jack sweating bullets in his chair. With a sigh he to arose and made his way out the room, preparing to begin the hardest job he’d ever had.
