Chapter 15
by Vain
What's after the game then...?
Jack's late to bed, but still an early riser
It was already late when the family finally got out of their seats, but it was still a full hour before Jack was able to go to bed, due to everyone needing the toilet first, and perhaps even taking a quick shower before they were headed for their respective rooms. It was especially at times like these when Jack regretted that he'd never installed that extra bathroom, like his wife had always insisted.
First of all they simply didn't have the rooms for it, especially not since Kim moved out of the one she shared with Jennie when they were still just kids. And then he'd argued that the girls could at least go together, if they were in such a hurry, which had been met with a silent but very tangible refusal to do so.
Eventually he managed to go to bed at least, but still had some trouble sleeping, almost like the days before. This time his troubles were slightly different however, as he'd come to realize what he'd missed the most about having a woman waiting for him in bed. There was one thing Shirley had been really good at after all, which was probably known by a lot more than Jack would be willing to believe in, and that was something he'd been sorely reminded of during this evening in front of the television.
It wasn't like he longed for someone else to take that woman's place at the moment, but her absence also made him suddenly aware that he hadn't really needed to get off by himself for most of their twenty one years together. He'd done so anyways, at times when he thought that Shirley wasn't up for it, but in hindsight it seemed like she'd been the greedy one after all.
Somehow he fell asleep at some point along this chain of thoughts, but despite his weariness he still woke up the same time as always the next morning, just a short time after the alarm should have gone off, and it took him a while to realize that he must have forgot to set it last night. Another thing he was just barely able to remember was the rather nice dream he'd had before waking up, and he wasn't surprised to find the large tent in the front of his trousers when he climbed out of bed.
All he could do was to groan in frustration however, as he made his way down the hallway towards the bathroom, due to being in much more need of taking a leak than to sate his own urges right away. Once he'd finished his business there he couldn't help from giving his aching hard on a couple of jerks, and found that he could really need to let off some steam right away.
It was only a few minutes later when he heard a sudden knock on the door though, which caused him to immediately stop what he was doing, without ever reaching his peak.
"Hey, dad...?" Kate's voice called out for him from the hallway outside, and he already knew what she wanted when he noticed the mild concern in her voice. "I'll get late to work, you know...?"
"Just a second!" He was quick to excuse himself, and hurriedly put on some clothes before leaving the bathroom for his daughters to use. It may have been the first time ever he'd been in the way for them like that, and even if he really didn't owe them anything he felt a bit guilty when he found that they'd all overslept because of him not waking them up like he used to.
"And it's raining too..." Said Kim, while munching on a sandwich, as he found her standing by the window in the kitchen downstairs. Her sister Jennifer was still trying to make her own ones though, and just barely looked up to say hi when he joined them by the table. Both of them seemed unusually anxious about getting late for school, though it could as well have been because of the bad weather outside, rather than the risk to miss out on their classes.
"I guess I could drive you there, if you'd like." Jack offered, as he felt that pang of guilt again. Normally he'd been off to work before them, and because they didn't have too far to walk he rarely ever offered them a ride at all.
"Really?" The girls seemed equally surprised about this one time exception, but certainly weren't late to accept it, and Kate was even happier yet, despite the fact that his offer hadn't actually been extended to include her just yet. Not that he could find any reason to leave her out of course, when he'd already promised the others.
"You haven't eaten your breakfast though...?" Jennie asked him as they were headed out to the car together, and was surprisingly eager to point out that they had a small cafe at school. Catherine was only one step behind her though, and just as quick to add that she was actually even working at one, in case her dad wished to try eating out in the morning.
"Yeah, sure..." Jack was slow to answer, and still hadn't made up his mind when he pulled the car off their driveway, with Kate sitting next to him and the others waiting for his reply in the back seat of the car.
While both options were perfectly reasonable, there was only one slight problem, as Jack was also in quite some need for a little more time in privacy. It wasn't like it actually caused him any pain or something, but now he'd got a taste at least of what it meant to have a case of blue balls, which really wasn't made any better by the fact that he was currently surrounded by the sight and sweet scent of three very attractive young women...
What's his answer then?
Girls of Jack
One man's world has been turned upside down, but he may find hope in the most unexpected places.
A story which I hope to work on when I have the time for it. For now it's closed for others, but I'll gladly accept ideas and suggestions for how to improve or continue the story! I've now started adding conditions, which is how I planned it from the start. So far it's recommended to read without activating the play function, but please try it out if you want, and let me know if you find something odd about the scoring.
