Izzy follows them

Izzy watched in disbelief as Gwen and her new friend walked off the field, chatting merrily. They crossed the street, and started heading toward a nearby academic building—one that looked pretty secluded…

They… they couldn’t be going to… Right? No way!

Izzy just couldn’t leave this uninvestigated. She put down the water bottle, excused herself from the next round of volleyball, and started to swiftly walk in the direction Gwen had gone. What the hell could that girl possibly be up to?

Izzy followed the path they’d taken across the street and toward the building. She’d lost sight of them around here, but it seems likely they’d followed the path which took them away from the road and around the building toward what looked like a secluded courtyard. At least, she didn’t see them anywhere on the sidewalks.

As she went toward the courtyard, it seemed her intuition had paid off. She could start to make out a pair of voices—one male, one female. It didn’t sound like what she might have suspected. In fact, it sounded like…
