Ivan -- Cloud Kingdom

Chapter 6 by Wikia Wikia

Amy crawled up to the reading corner. When there wasn't a caretaker reading to the students during storytime, it was usually deserted during community hours.

Well, all except for one person.

Ivan Collins was sitting by himself in a corner, skimming a picture book that looked tiny in his hands. He was in a legless onsie, the frills of his diaper poking out from the leggings.

"Fisher Kingdoms", named after the Arthurian character, was a term Ellen's used to describe worlds that had a radical, physiological effect on people who stumbled into their worlds. Pretty much every world people happened to find themselves in regressed them physically as well as mentally, but Fisher Kingdoms tended to do much more to whoever stumbled into them, whether it gave them animal characteristics, dyed them impossible colors, or even just a radical change in size.

Ivan still looked human, though his time in his world had caused some form of gigantism, his height at sitting position reaching near eye-level for the average human adult.

Much like Amy, Ivan's time in his world had affected his girth. Before his regression, he was a svelt man, a product of a lucky metabolism. Now he was very plump, the lack of excess body hair other than the bush of black atop his head making it all look like baby fat.

He had claimed that when he inhereted his dead parent's old farmhouse, we woke up to discover his house had been teleported to a world in the clouds from the top of a giant tree, as though it were "Jack in the Beanstalk". Like old Jack, Ivan had found himself wandering into the home of a giant, a woman towering over him several times his own height. She caught him like a cat with a mouse, strapped him down, and forced fed him from a high chair. She fed him peas and carrots and mashed potatoes, and all manner of fruit and cooked pork and chicken. It was yummy, but it was also more food than he could stomach.

At first he thought that she was fattening him up just so she could eat him later. She fed him and fed him and fed him three times a day. Sometimes he felt like his stomach would pop, only finding relief when his upset tummy emptied itself into the seat of his pants, something made easier with the diaper she made him wear.

It turned out that she fed him so much because it was the normal amount giants ate, and after a while, he had grown (literally and figuratively) into it. She fed him, changed him, played with him. He learned that he wasn't the only human who found himself in the Cloud Kingdom, all of them adopted into giant families and reared like giant babies.

He had learned from the other adoptees at Daycare that while giants could reproduce, their rate of conception was low and converting humans into giants was normal practice for them. Odds are they would tell them the specifics of it all eventually, but they were just babies. Maybe in a few hundred years, when they reach potty-training age, their mommies and daddies will tell them the specifics of how giant babies are made.

Now that he was back on Earth, he really stood out. Or he would, if he could stand, needing to crawl on all fours everywhere he went. It didn't take long before he found himself in the Institute's care. Clothing him was simple, the Institute having many custom tailors who were once students themselves and offered their services. Feeding him was simple too, even if they always had to make extra.

The diapers were the hard part. Ivan's regression necessitated the need for diapers, but they didn't exactly make them in his size, so the Institute had to pull some strings and rush-order a truckload of the things.
