Its a biggish Box.

You open the box and start to sort through every thing that was left at your place when you broke up.

As you pull out random item after Item you reminisce on why she left and why what she left was so eclectic. When she lived with you she tended to let her stuff scatter around the apartment you shared, refused keep any of her stuff organized, and kept basically everything like a pack rat. It was a nightmare to get her moved out. No wonder there was enough stuff to fill a whole box and it get mixed up or lost in transition. There seems to be just about a little bit of everything in here.

She stayed with you when your life was a mess, like her and hers, but left when you started to get your life together because in her words 'You're not fun anymore, at first it was just studying to get your GED instead of going with me to parties, now its spend all your party money on night classes and stuff. I liked you because I thought you were like me, always going to live life like a party.'

She could never understand that you still wanted to have fun but that you also saw that you needed to figure out how you where going survive. The jobs you had only worked to support you two in the short run. It wasn't enough money to do anything besides survive, you only still get to party like you did because of friends that are better off but that also enjoy your company enough to pay your way, but you noticed they themselves were starting to dwindle. One by one they were either being **** by their families to sort their own life's out, were being cut off from the family money, or where being convinced to drop 'loser' friends like you.

You saw the writing on the wall that this life style wasn't sustainable but that if you both worked hard and got either Trade jobs or went go to college, like you wanted to when you were a kid, then you could still have fun, just around a work schedule and a budget and would have to put that life style on pause for a bit.

However she seemed to think that with her body she would never have to worry about having to do any of that and could just coast of that and other peoples money, maybe she was right, even after all that parting she still had the body of a model, but you didn't think so.

It only took you as long as it did to make the decision to sort your self out, even if she wasn't going to, was because every time you wanted to change something and move in that direction she would play to your insecurities around academics. 'Really with how you did in school? Remember were both dropouts for a reason, Lets just go to this party and forget about all this worrying, those are tomorrows yous problems' or something to that effect, She would say it so dismissively It sounded like it must have been common sense, It would work time and time again.

The schooling was the real crux in your mind, that maybe you weren't meant for anything more than what you had, you had a tendency to Score decent on any test that wasn't scan-tron based but for some reason scan-tron wreaked you and the everyday school work was even worse, for most of your school career even when you would do the homework you would lose it half the time. The teachers and your parents just assumed you were lying and didn't do it at all so you started doing it less and less.

Turns out, as you would find out later, you had an un-diagnosed case of ADHD and while you couldn't afford the medicine the doctor prescribed just the knowledge to look in that direction was enough to get you on the right track, there are a lot of things that can help an ADHD person that aren't as effective as the prescribed stuff but defiantly do help.

At least enough to help you enough that you were able to get your GED, then get into community collage, then manage to apply to school after school until you found one that had the courses you wanted and would take your weak ass transcripts.

You can still be air headed at times and you still struggle with standardized tests and daily course work but its manageable Solid C+ work. Once you have your life sorted out you can probably get on the meds the doc prescribed and manage things better but for now its enough to get you on the right track.

All of this was enough for her to call it quits, but as a she left she did what she could to poke at your insecurities but it didn't work like it used to. You had realized that all these things she would say about you really mirrored her and what she thought of her own self worth. You hope she can one day see there is more to who she can be then the box she put herself in but its better to let her go and let her be if she wants to break up just so she can avoid growing as a person in any kind of way.

With that thought you snap out of your reminiscing and start to take account of everything you have unpacked from this rather large box.
