It works

As Jacob held his hands in front of himself to defend himself, he noticed Wonder Woman's eyes change, although not back to normal. There was a blue glow to them now, the same blue glow the stone had when he made his wish. Also, Wonder Woman was now standing straight, almost as if waiting for an order.

"Um," Jacob asked. "What are you doing?"

"You are my Master," Wonder Woman said in a vacant voice. "I am awaiting your commands."

The stone worked! Jacob couldn't believe it.

This meant he could free the Justice League. And by 'free', he of course meant get all the superheroes under his control. Maybe he would wrest control from the Illusionist...

But first, he had a sexy Amazonian slave, and he would be damned if he wasn't going to mess with her while he had the chance.
