It was mandatory? (Neutral)

Although the assignment seemed rather easy I could feel I didn't have much inside me to show. I wasn't special, just a plain girl trying to fit in. That feeling made me a bit hesitant and I had to clarify it with Mr Gefferson.

• "Excuse me, Mr Gefferson?"
• "Yes Lucy?"
• "Is this project mandatory?"
• "Well, how else do you expect to share your inner self with the world, Lucy?"
• "Umm, how about mother nature?"
• "Although that is important in itself, you need to tear down those walls around you. Show us the true Lucy."
• "Oh, ok then."
• "You can do it, Lucy."

I knew I could take the picture but what would it show? I didn't feel much at that time, but maybe some self-discovery would be in order...
