It was a trap :O
Catman looked around the alleyway. He knew he was in danger, and he needed to find a way out. As he surveyed the alleyway, his eyes landed on a ladder that led to a fire escape on the building next to him. Catman quickly climbed up the ladder and onto the fire escape. He made his way to the rooftops, where he could see his next move better. Catman knew he needed to find a way back to his apartment, and he needed to do it quickly. He wasn't sure what Black Mask was planning, but he wasn't going to let him get the upper hand.
Catman climbed down the fire escape and hurried back to his apartment. He locked the door behind him and breathed a sigh of relief. He was safe for now, but he knew he couldn't let his guard down in case Black Mask came for him again. Catman needed to figure out his next move, and quickly. He needed to find out why Black Mask was after him, and what he wanted from him. Catman needed answers, and he was determined to find them.
