It was a mistake

"I was going to say... A mistake," Megan said quietly.

"What?!" Seth's heart dropped at her words.

"I'm sorry, it's just... I need some time to think about this... I don't want things to get weird because of this," She continued.

"Our friendship won't end because of this. It was amazing. We'll always be friends," Seth reassured her.

"Okay. Good. Well, I should probably get going. No offense but I don't think I'll be getting much studying done here anymore," Megan said as she gathered her things.

"Right. Yeah. Sorry," Seth replied awkwardly.

"No, it's fine. Thanks for letting me study here," Megan said before walking out the door.

Seth sat back down on the couch, unsure of what just happened. "At least I don't have an erection to deal with anymore, for now," he chuckled to himself. He grabbed his phone and scrolled through a few useless notifications before coming across an email from his school's email account with a title that made his heart drop:
