It turns out not to be a nude beach

Whilst Kate, June & Sun enjoyed their skinny-dip, various people arrived at the beach, mainly families and teenagers.

A ranger removed the towel on the sign, which now read "No Nudity Allowed"

Kate looked up the beach and saw the new beachgoers arriving, but that none of them were shedding their clothes

"Sun, this is a nude beach right?" she asked

"Of course. The sign says Nudity Allowed" Sun answered, looking at the sign. "Umm. The sign actually says No Nudity Allowed, sorry"

"So this isn't an official nude beach?" June asked

"Umm... No" Sun replied

"Great, so what are we supposed to do now?" Kate snapped "None of us have any clothes with us, and the beach is getting full"

"Rose, Alex & Claire should be here soon. They can bring us towels" June said

"What towels? We don't have any!" Kate snapped again.

"Umm. They were going to travel naked like we did." Sun said.

The girls kept their bodies submerged under the water as much as they could whilst they considered options for getting out of the water without being seen.
