It turns!

You feel the slightest resistance when you turn the key, but to your surprise, this time it doesn't get stuck. You're able to continue turning until you hear a soft click. With a little jiggle the lock comes off the front of the belt and falls to the floor.

Kim lets out a sharp sigh of relief.
