It started with a party on Key West...

Key West, Florida - 9:47 AM

As she approached, Power Girl took a look around with her super-vision. From what she could tell, it was just an unassuming beach town, and to be honest, it's exactly what she needs right now.

A few days ago, she got a message from her friend Atlee, better known as Terra. Apparently, she was going to throw a small farewell party for a new friend of hers, and she invited Karen to come join. After having to balance fighting super villains with the JSA and managing her company, a short trip to the beach sounds like fun.

Of course, she couldn't show up as Power Girl. Luckily, she quickly spotted the perfect spot for a quick change. Karen covertly landed in a small alley just out of sight from any pedestrians. She then opened the mid-size travel bag she had brought with her, carrying a change of clothes, sunscreen, beach tower, and of course-

“Huh?” Karen said to herself, “What the hell? Where's my swimsuit?”

As she searched her travel bag, a small, floating eye appeared behind, hovering just far enough to be out of her immediate range and watching her.

I just don't get it, Karen thought to herself as she walked down the road. I could've have sworn I...You know what, doesn't matter. I'll see if I can just buy a new one.

As she approached a small coffee shop, she spotted two young women standing by a table. She waved and shouted “Hey!”, at which one of them immediately turned around and ran straight into her. “Whoa, hey,” Karen said with a chuckle to the younger woman hugging her, “I know it's been a while, but relax!”

Atlee looked up, smiling. “I'm sorry, I can't help it. It's so good to you again.”

“Yeah, good to see you too,” Karen patted her shoulder. She turned her attention to the third in their group, saying “So, mind introducing me to your new friend?”

“Oh, yeah. Karen, meet Koridand'r, also known as Starfire. Kory, this is Karen, that friend I told you about,“ Atlee quickly said.

Kory just smiled at the two of them, saying “Hello, Karen. It's good to meet you. I believed I've seen you before. You're a member of the Justice League, yes?”

Karen immediately responded in a hushed tone, “Yeah, not so loud. Some of us have secret identities, you know.”

“Oh, my apologies.”

Atlee spoke up, “Actually, Karen, since you're here, I should tell you guys I found a nice remote spot for us on the coast to talk. How about we head over there?”

“That's fine,” Karen replied, “as long as we stop by a store real quick. I need a new swimsuit.”

Atlee and Kory looked at each other, then back to Karen. “Well...” Atlee said hesitantly.

“Well what?”

“Okay, hear me out. The spot I mentioned is actually pretty nice for swimming, and just far away enough that no one can bother us. So, Kory and I figured that we could go skinny dipping.”

Karen just looked at the two with a deadpan expression. “Really?”

Kory then spoke, “It was my suggestion, actually. I've been wanting to feel cool water on my skin, and I've never been allowed to go without a swimsuit.”

“However,” Atlee continued, “It's completely optional. If you don't feel up to it, we can get you that new swimsuit. Okay?”

Karen thought about it for a few seconds and...
