It goes all right

"Well, hello then." Shez started her introduction, a bit loud while not noticing that Linhart was still asleep. "I'm Shez, a former mercenary. Well, I guess I still qualify for that, but right now I'm a new student." She glanced awkwardly at Byleth before taking a deep breath. "My former band clashed once with the Jeralt Mercenaries, which is part of why I joined this house. Oh and I'm the one who eliminated the head of the bandits that attacked Edelgard and the others as they attempted to escape." She exhaled, having finished her introduction.

Edelgard clasped her hands together. "Well, allow me to welcome you to the Black Eagle House. I'm pleased you selected us." She gave a nod in ascent, most of the students giving polite applause, Byleth following suit. "Wait, you took down the bandit's leader?!" Caspar commented, making Shez blush a bit. "Well, I couldn't have pulled it off if everyone else had already **** them to retreat. The bandits would have ganged up on me if they hadn't been **** to retreat."

"There may be some truth to that. I can't shake the feeling that we were destined to meet somehow." Edelgard confirmed. As the chatter rose again, Linhart seemed to have woken up a bit. "So much for a peaceful nap..." He spotted Shez curiously. "Who are you?" After being told by a slightly irritated Dorothea about Shez. "All righr. Welcome to the class and all that. If anyone needs me, I'll be asleep in— Wait, hold on. Do you have a Crest? Did Professor Hanneman even check?"

"Oh, he checked, all right. Sorry to say I'm certifiably Crest-less." Shez shook her head as Linhardt looked at her curiously. "Strange. You definitely seem the type, but I suppose I'm just imagining it." He sighed sounding like he was going to go back to sleep.

"Well, I think that covered everything we needed to do today." Edelgard looked back at Byleth. "I think we have the rest of the day off, and it is getting close to lunch time, perhaps we should spend some time getting to know the new members of our house? I don't believe either of you have had a chance to properly explore the monastery yet."

Shez looked interested, but what did Byleth feel like doing? He could do so with some of the students, but he also thought he could use some one-on-one time with Sothis to discuss things...
