It does something... unusual.

The lamp thrummed with a nervous sort of energy as it assessed the woman holding it. It definitely coveted her as its genie, but there was an issue. She was pretty damn high up on on the multiversal power scale, and might actually manage to break free if it just tried to claim her outright. It normally couldn't ask for consent, it wasn't designed for that, but there were a few exceptions to the rule. In this case? Self preservation was a priority. It really should have looked before it leapt into this world, there were actual threats to it here, but no point in crying over spilled milk, time to improvise.

It began spewing out blue and red mists that twisted together, but made no immediate move towards Wonder Woman, who initially flinched. "What is this?" she asked, staring at the glimmering vapors, her gaurd up.

The mist then seemed to shape itself in a manner of speaking, as if trying to communicate with her. Diana narrowed her eyes as she tried to understand what it was telling her, before pausing as the mist drifted closer to her face, before stopping, as if asking permission to continue. She hesitated briefly. What if this was some sort of trap? A means of being tricked into being placed under some sort of spell? Yet her instincts were warning her of no danger, and she decided to see what would happen, partly out of curiosity, partly out of pride. She was certain she could defeat whatever this was if it turned out to be nefarious.

When she gave a small nod, the mist proceeded to envelop her head, and she gasped as it immediately started transferring knowledge directly into her mind. It was an actually pleasant sensation, and in mere moments, she understood exactly what this entity was. What it wanted to make her into... and just how good it would feel, and the powers it would grant grant her, and what the price was. It seemed to bypass all of her reservations, helping her understand how her societal and cultural standards were, at the end of the day, completely arbitrary. That there was no shame in living a life of so called hedonism if that was what fulfilled someone. She did however stubbornly hold on to some standards, such as the concept of causing no deliberate harm to anyone, and the lamp decided to respect those particular standards, albeit a tad reluctantly.

Eventually, the mist withdrew, leaving Diana's mind reeling, and she stared at the mists cautiously. She thought about everything she had just learned, and what going forward would entail. And found the idea of letting go actually enticing. She shivered a bit at just how easily she was being convinced to at least consider this. This lamp actually made the idea of being an enslaved genie sound good. From what she could tell, none of the subjects it had claimed previously had ultimately regretted it. She stared at the mist, still being released from the lamp as she weighed her options.
