It Begins well enough...

Arien awoke in his bed to see Davri standing over him.

"Eat your breakfast and get down to the usual training hall. Garn says we begin your new training regimen today." Arien nodded and yawned as Davri walked away. After another minute of enjoying the warmth and softness of the bed beneath him, he got up and stretched, preparing himself for the many trials the day would no doubt bring. The elf got dressed, walked to the breakfast hall and ate quickly, not wanting to keep his party waiting. The walk to the training hall wasn't a long one and during it Arien considered how all of this was going to turn out for him. He was happy to have another chance at being an adventure but he worried he may be biting off more than he could chew here. He remembered the haunting vision of the other elf, the one that looked like him, that probably was him somehow, and it made a chill run down his spine. He didn't think the elf was right really, but... What if he was? What if he really did end up as little more than a willing sex ****? Arien pondered and worried about all of this until he reached the training room.

Davri, Lana, Irina and Garn were all standing there at the ready when Arien arrived, all eyes turning to him as he entered the room.

"Good to see you Arien," Garn spoke with his usual taciturn tone as he addressed the elf. "Are you ready for your new training regimen? I want to be clear here Arien, I will completely understand if you want to back out at this point. I'll have Lana undo the spell tattoo and you can go your own way, if you don't want to commit to this path." Arien gulped, he had a chance to quit before he got any deeper in, given his doubts leaving might not be the worst decision, but on the other hand he still wanted to be a healer. The elf was quite for a moment and thought about what to do.
