It’s Mike!

Mike was standing there with a thermos in his hand. As Jade and Selene approached, he held out the thermos to Jade.

“Here, Jade! Something I prepared for you since you’ve been looking tired lately.”

“Thanks, sweetheart...” Jade smiled at Mike before leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek. Mike blushed, and Jade and Selene laughed at his reddening face.

The three then headed to their first class, anxious to get school over and done with.

“Ding dong!”

And school was done.

Jade, Selene and Mike were all preparing to go home. Jade was in an especially good mood, as Jason had not paid any real attention to her in class. The jock was probably preparing something, but Jade wouldn’t say no to less Jason.

While they were walking out of the school, Selene got a text.

“Oh crap, you guys go on without me!” Selene said.

“Why? What’s up?” Mike asked.

“I forgot something in school. It’s gonna take a hell of a while to retrieve it, so you guys can go first. See ya!” Selene then turned back, running towards the school.

Jade and Mike shrugged, and continued heading back home together.
