It's not your problem
You shrug your shoulders. Corruption is everywhere and you are not responsible for this. And it isn’t your job to support homeless beggars either. If they want to improve their situation they can do it on their own. You are also sure this isn’t related to your father or the investigation against him, except he somehow owns a part of this mall, which wouldn’t surprise you. This is just injustice and corruption that happens every day. And the world still moves, so why should you interfere. Your mother always stood up to such things, but every time she made new enemies and in general it changed nothing.
You shake your head and move on. Right now, this is nothing you really care about. And since you don’t want to spent this shopping trip thinking about homeless people, you just follow Eric to the first shop you need to visit.
