It's not impressed

Boring change detected! -8 hour penalty!

"What the...no!" exclaimed Josh, especially once he saw that the updated timer showed just 22 minutes remaining before another change. Jessica's entry sat above the original one in the feed.

"At least we won't be getting any more English homework, huh?" Josh said nervously to Jessica, who was looking at the screen strangely.

"What do you mean? We haven't gotten any this year."

"But...since you put it in the app, that means Mr. Donaldson got changed to not give out homework."

"I'm confused," Jessica said. "He never has. That's why anyone who gets into his classes is so pumped. You know that. We were psyched when we both got in. Are you OK?"

Josh opened his mouth to retort, but closed it as he realized any reply wouldn't do any good. Clearly, he was the only one who was able to tell that either of the two changes made so far were not long-established facts. Suddenly, he felt very alone.

"Here, take this back," Jessica said while handing Josh the phone. "Bell's about to ring anyway." With that, she stood up and walked away.

Josh looked back at the screen to see that there were now just over 20 minutes left before the app made its own random change. It was either that, or enter one himself. He weighed his options: clearly, the app must be favoring sexual changes, since the one it made was blatantly so, plus it hated one about simple homework. Did he really want to risk the state of the world to chance, or should he take the reigns?

I gotta do something, he decided. Something small, but sexual. That way it'll maybe give me a time boost so I can have more time to think. But what?

Amid all this thinking, the bell had rung and the rest of the school was headed inside. Josh quickly stood up and joined the end of the pack, making his way to his locker. After dropping off his backpack, he hurried to his first class, pre-calc, feeling a few tits and dicks along the way (somehow, he was already getting used to it).

After taking his seat in class, waiting for it to begin, Josh pulled out the app again and stared at the blank text box. Finally, an idea struck: in order to balance out the insane amount of groping that must be happening daily around the globe, he would help out everyone by dealing with the unfortunate side effects. So, he entered the following:

After hitting enter, Josh was greeted with a pop-up reading: Decently Interesting change detected! +7 hours 41 min bonus.

He smiled to himself, though he found the oddly specific time awarded weird. Now he at least had bought himself basically the whole day to work on the next alteration, plus he didn't have to worry about getting hard when he was feeling up any remotely hot girl for the rest of the day. At least, he assumed that would be the case.

But that much time seemed a little strange. The app's own random change appeared to be a lot more impactful than his. Was there something he was missing? Ah well, he thought, worry about that later.

There was in fact a reason he was awarded so much time. Josh had yet to realize the unintended consequences of his entry, which were a bit more far-reaching than his simple prompt implied.
