It's an auction

The security guard lets you off on the 7th floor, where you join a bunch of other guests. Most of the people are men but there are also plenty of women around as well and you walk around the large room, not really talking to anybody. Same as everywhere in this building, there are also a lot of security guards in this room, although they seem less concerned about the guests. There's even catered food and drinks at this event, as a waiter hands you a flute of champagne and you grab a deviled egg off their tray. It's delicious.

Feeling a little hungry, you're looking around for more food when you hear the loud clinging of a glass coming from back of the room. You look over in that direction and you realize there's a stage there against the wall, and an elegant looking black woman in a black dress steps up to it. She looks like she's in her mid to late 30s, although her skin is flawless and she's quite beautiful.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen! My name is Kiara. I'm your host today. Please, help yourselves to the food and beverages. Now, before we begin, I see many familiar faces but for those who may be new, here are some rules of the auction," the host says. She goes on to state a few rules.

For example, some of the women up for auction are here willingly because they're basically selling themselves to the highest bidder for cash, while some, like Svetlana, are not here willingly. You chuckle to yourself as you wonder if she's figured out what's going on yet. Also, there isn't any universal rule of what winning means. It all depends on the person or "owner" of the person being auctioned. In your case, you would be transferring the contract of Svetlana to the highest bidder. For others, it could be as innocent as a sugar daddy type of deal.

Once Kiara is done explaining, she beckons to a couple security guards to bring out the first batch of girls up for auction. From an entryway next to the stage, 5 naked women step out and line up against the way. They're decently pretty, but you can see why they would be the first act. Amused, you get closer to the front of the crowd as Kiara commences the auction and briefly introduces each woman with some of their biographical information. All of these women are agreeing to be sold for money to go to their families or pay off debts.

At the end, Kiara points to the blonde standing at the end and asks for a bid. A woman shouts out "$50,000!" and someone else follows it with "$60,000!" It goes on for a bit and the winning bid is $350,000. It's quite a bid of money to start with, although that's practically nothing for you. You hadn't come here to bid on anyone, although you're prepared to. The auction runners have the bank account information for every one of the guests here, including yourself, so it's an easy thing. At this point, you're just content to keep watching until Svetlana is up.
