So is there now war going on in the Himalayas?
It's a skirmish not a war
Condiment Wizard noticed now that he had focused back on his spell that some of his cloud angels had flew off. He was not quite sure what happened there. The most obvious option was that they left it and it simply went away like regular clouds. Though he would have bet on them going to do something somewhere else.
Though in the grand scheme of things it didn't matter all that much, as the ones that probably wandered off were a minority of the cloud angels. So he had the majority of them for the moment, and honestly, it felt like he should do something. It was an awesome thing to throw lighting and cause avalanches with his magical might, but he was starting to get into if a tree falls in the woods territory.
Honestly now that he thought about it, he was surprised that the Justice League or some other superhero team hadn't shown up already. He wasn't exactly being subtle with his showing of his magic might with giant thunder clouds in a human head shape. While he was doing it on a mountain in the Himalayas, it's not something that's all that interesting if you're not a hiker with an urge to climb tall mountains.
So perhaps it was a bad location to do this. Then something went through the cloud version of himself at speed. Surprised, the condiment wizard turned to see the Chinese superman coming back around for another go. The sudden appearance of him got Condiment Wizard to pay more attention to his surroundings and see them. The rest of the Chinese justice league was here, and they were moving in for the attack.
It would appear China got antsy about him doing his magic on their border and sent their heroes to stop it. Condiment Wizard smiled at that and spoke up. "While it seems some worthless pretend heroes wish to be beaten by a god! While none can say I'm a bad host, for I will grant you your wish!" Condiment Wizard roared, declaring his intent and promise to the Chinese Justice League.
The Chinese superman answers by firing heat rays into his cloud. He was trying to separate the clouds, hoping to weaken or stop the clouds entirely by doing so. It didn't work, as Condiment Wizard's control was too great to pull something like that off. "This setback means nothing. As you'll just make crops grow better anyway and I don't have anything against crops or farmers." The Chinese superman said, trying to make light of the situation.
"True, but let's stop it before it rains too much, shall we?" Chinese Batman said in a chipper voice before throwing a device high in the air. For a second nothing happened to them; it exploded, and chemicals flew into the air around the cloud. Condiment Wizard wondered what any of that was supposed to accomplish, then he felt through his magical connection to his clouds.
Chinese Batman had just released some anti-cloud chemical into the air. It didn't work; it just caused Condiment Wizard to put in more magic ketchup into the shell to counter it. The wonder woman of China, Peng Delean, spoke up then. "Stop with the quips and useless cloud go away chemicals. We have a battle to win before this magic threatens the innocent of China." Peng Deilan shouted out at the two, to which the two dutifully obeyed.
Chinese Superman went back to blasting the clouds and charging through them at jet speeds. While Chinese Batman went through a device after device and a chemical bomb after chemical bomb to stop the threat. Peng Deilan herself continued to try and fight the cloud with her own abilities, not making any better progress than her teammates.
Condiment Wizard watched their desperate attempt to stop him and laughed. They had no way of stopping at the moment, and he was going to enjoy the fun of fighting a Justice League on his own. "Your tricks will not defeat me." Condiment Wizard roared down at the invading heroes, each word thundering. Condiment Wizard continued to fight the Chinese justice league, enjoying every moment of the battle, not that he would admit that.
Far away from the Himalayas in Gotham City, Batman was busy dealing the final blows. Nightwing, Red Hood, and Red Robin had worked together to bring down the yellow mafia. He was currently dealing with the red Mafia, or rather, what was left of it. Batman had punched his way through the lieutenants and had crippled them for the moment.
Now with the two mad mafias dealt with, the other gangs and mafias should quiet down. Meaning that Gotham would turn to its safer normal, which wasn't all that safe but was much better than the previous war zone the city had been turning into. This was wonderful and horrible for Batman. It was wonderful that the city was safer for the moment, as that meant fewer innocent people lost.
On the other hand, it was horrible, as it gave him much more time. He would, of course, use it to spend time with his son and parents. No doubt making plenty of family moments he will cherish to the grave and beyond. The problem was he had more time to dedicate to finding out where Condiment Wizard's body ended up and why the swamp thing killed him. The guilt crushed him when he thought about what happened, but in the end he would solve the case, as it needed to be done and was the right thing to do.
So soon enough he was left with his thoughts on the future and a couple dozen unconscious Red Mafia goons. He was interrupted from his thoughts as his son, the current Robin, came to him gliding in from another rooftop. Batman looked up, concerned, praying nothing had gone wrong at home.
"Robin, is everything okay?" Batman demanded, wanting to be sure nothing had gone wrong. Damian gave him a nod, yes, so everything was okay. He gave a quiet sigh in relief at that. He then gave Damian a look, clearly silently asking why he was here and not at home having fun with Grandma. Damian saw the look his father was giving him and responded quickly.
"I'm sorry knitting is just so boring," Damian said, causing Batman to give a frustrated sigh. "I know whether it's important or not I should do it because it's family time." Damian said clearly, having been told this before. Batman eyed him a moment, then shook his head before leading them both back to Wayne Manor. The defeated Red Mafia was tied up and waiting for the police.
"I know she makes you uncomfortable, but you'll get used to it." Batman said to Robin, who froze in response for a moment before following after his dad, knowing he was right but not wanting to admit it. The truth was knitting was boring, but he could do any boring test perfectly. No, the true issue was his grandma and her love for him.
He had known love, as both his mother and grandpa cared for and loved him in their own ways. They were nowhere near as blatant as his grandmother. She was always wanting to give him a hug, a kiss, or a cookie; she usually gave him all three, whether he protested or not. The love was so obvious, so blatant, that it scared Damian to a degree.
His grandmother was effectively the mother he never had. He had no idea how to deal with all that affection. His father was having trouble as well, but he was more adaptive to that level of love and care. He would have to figure it out, as it was shameful to continue bailing on his living grandmother. He and Batman made it back to Wayne Manor quickly, though to both their surprises Martha Wayne was waiting for them.
She gave both the boys a look over before speaking. She gave Damian a hard look which caused him to suddenly have trouble looking anywhere but forward towards his grandma. She sighed to herself and spoke up to both of them. "Bath and bed, you two have been through enough lately, and we will discuss your issues, Damian, with loving care later." Martha said, then marched the two towards the bathrooms for a bath before bed.
How is the Chinese justice league doing?
