It's a Misty costume from Pokemon!

"A Misty costume?" Evan said, surprised as Melody held it up for him to see. "You can't be serious, Mel!"

Like any Pokemon fan, he did like Misty, but that didn't mean he wanted to be her! Certainly not out in the open where people might see him! And why would she have picked a girl's costume out of all the possible ones she might have chosen? Evan grimaced as he realized it was probably payback for the years of ridicule.

"Yep, I figure you liked Pokemon, and even Ash has dressed like a girl, so why not you?" Melody giggled.

"Well, I guess I did make the bet..." Evan sighed.

"Great!" Melody exclaimed, exclaims whisking Evan to her vanity and putting him in a chair.

"Woah! What's going on? Don't I need to change into it?" Evan asked.

"Of course, but we have to do some prep work first. Now, even though Misty is tomboyish, she does need to look like a girl." Melody replied.

Melody took Evan's hand and began to file his rather unkempt nails, making them neater, not neccesarily more feminine, before picking up a bottle of clear nail polish. Evan recoiled his hands, but Melody quickly grabbed them back.

"It's just a clear coat, to make sure they stay clean. Honestly, it's for protection, and lots of men use it... Well maybe not lots, but you get what I mean." Melody said.

Following that, she took the wig, orange and styled into Misty's signature hairstyle, and started brushing it out and neatening it up, which you had seen her do over the years to several other wigs. Once she was satisfied, she then grabbed a tube of cream off her dresser and handed it to Evan.

"What's this?" Evan asked as he looked at it. "Depilatory?"

"Hair removal cream, if you're gonna wear those short shorts, you don't wanna have a forest on your legs, do you?"

"This is going a lot farther than I imagined, Mel. I don't know if I'm comfortable with this."

"Come on, it wouldn't do any good if I just got you some store bought costume, the whole reason I made this bet was to make you respect cosplayers, so you've gotta know what we go through, and unfortunately, over the years, I've only made costumes for girls!" Melody said.

With it being rather hard to argue with her logic, Evan shrugged and went to the bathroom, doing as he was told and following the instructions on the tube to the letter, emerging about twenty minutes later with a towel around his waist.

"All right, this is when the fun begins!" Melody clapped her hands together.

With Melody on the other side of the door, Evan changed into what would become his underwear for the remainder of the day, a pair of panties and a bra. For the ultimate irony factor, Melody had gone the extra mile and ordered, exactly in his size, a pair of panties which contained several images of the Pokemon Togepi, one of Misty's most well-known companions, and a bra whose cups were decorated to resemble Pokeballs.

"Ha ha!" Evan laughed sarcastically.

Next up was the actual costume, the classic yellow tank top, denim shorts, red suspenders, red and white sneakers, and finally the orange wig. After some quick dabs of makeup, simply to soften Evan's features, and Evan had been transformed into Ash's first traveling companion, the second gym leader of Kanto, Misty! Feeling the draft on his legs, Evan turned to his sister, who was quickly getting herself into her own costume.

"So, what's next?" Evan asked.
