It's Tamara!

“Shhh! Luna, it’s me!” Tamara said in a hushed whisper, her hand on Luna’s shoulder, trying to calm the other girl.

“Oh thank God! I thought I was done for! I thought the Rapi had caught me, and that they were gonna--were gonna…” Luna trailed off, her eyes turning red. It looked like she was gonna cry.

“Hey, stay with me. It’s okay, we’re gonna make it through this.” Tamara said reassuringly, pulling her friend and squad mate into a quick hug. “It won’t be easy, but I’ve got a plan. Remember that turret I was working on?” Luna nodded. “Well, I’ve almost got it up and running. I just need a moment to get finish it and I can take out all of the Rapi, no problem.”

A smile returned to Luna’s face.

“There’s only one problem,” Tamara continued, “The last couple of steps are gonna be really loud and I’ll need to be fully focused on what I’m doing to get it right.” Tamara tried her best to smile reassuringly. “So…. I’m gonna need you to… distract the Rapi while I finish up.” She must have seen the dread in Luna’s eyes, because she quickly followed up with “But I’ll try and be ready as soon as possible!”

Luna stared at her. The scared look still spread across her face. “Look-” Tamara started, but Luna cut her off. “I’ll do it.” Her face grew serious. “It doesn’t look like Samora and Monique have much time either.” She gestured past the large piece of rubble the two were hiding behind. Sure enough, the group of Rapi were quickly closing in on their two naked friends. Samora and Monique were doing their best to resist their impulses, but even from this distance it was easy to tell that they wouldn’t be able to put up much resistance.

“If I don’t go now, they’re done for, so… lets do this!” Luna. Tried to **** a confident smile, though she felt more nervous than she ever had in her life. This was the real deal. “Good luck.” She said

“You too.” Tamara responded softly before darting off back toward the turret.
