It's Saturday! You get the whole place to yourself(?)

WOOHOO!!! Its Saturday! With no homework for the weekend, Dana doing extra curricular activities at school, and your parents work a good majority of the weekends, you get house duty. Meaning you get the whole house to yourself. At least you would, but you do have a new house member. You expect Sarah will either head out and do something with her clique, or she'll stay here and not bother you, at least until you feel like making her do something. You just realized that you still don't fully understand your newfound power you seem to have. From what you can guess, it seems to work as super persuasion in the form of reverse psychology. Now if it works on everyone, you're not sure. But maybe you can test that later.

But you'll worry about that later. Your stomach is growling, so you know your priorities. You make your way to the kitchen for some breakfast. Upon entering, you see your sister, Dana in her psyduck pj's. You're still surprised that she still likes them, even though she stop playing pokemon. She is drinking what you guess is coffee and is waiting for some toast to pop out the toaster. She turns to the doorway when you enter the room and smiles.

"Hey John, you were up early today." She says, taking a sip of coffee.

"Yeah, I don't know why either, but that just means I get more time to enjoy Saturday." You say.

"You and your love of Saturdays will always confuse me. Why do you like them so much?"

"Its one of the only days I get some peace from... pretty much everything."

"Seems like that's gonna end for you now that we have a queen bitch under our roof." She says with disgust.

That's right. Dana still hates Sarah for how she treats you all the time. You could just tell her that's it'll be ok, but you got to be careful how you tell her without sounding crazy. Oh, you got it.

"I know its not ideal that Sarah just lives here now, believe me, I hate it too." You lie a little, but it sure is believable.

"But we got to try and make something out of this. Hey, who knows, maybe she'll start being nicer eventually. I mean its not likely, but we can hope right?" You ask, thinking you could have sounded worse. But she seems a little less upset at least.

"Yeah I guess you're right. I'll try to make this work, but I'm not gonna be buddy-buddy with her right off the bat." She says. That's at least puts to rest some of her worries. After you get your coffee, you notice at least two people haven't made it to the kitchen.

"So where are mom and dad? Still sleeping?" You ask, hoping to change the subject.

"Oh yeah, they left a note on the fridge. They said they had to come in early today, but they didn't say why. The note did say that they won't be home until some time around 10:30 or so. So we're on our own for the whole day." Dana replies. Nice! This gives you a lot of time to mess with Sarah uninterrupted. You have a few ideas what you could do with her. Oh wait a minute, Dana can't drive!

"Wait, how are you gonna get to school for your extra curricular stuff? You don't have a license yet. Do you need a ride to and back?" You ask, genuinely worried about her. You know that stuff is important to her.

"Don't worry, I got a friend to give me a ride. I just need to shower and get ready." With that she finishes her breakfast and leaves you alone in the kitchen. You might as well get started on those chores right after you finish your breakfast. Then the fun can begin.
