It's Late 2022

Officer Dela Cruz and Officer O'Neill returned looking sombre.

Officer O'Neill addressed Ed together with Idris and Kirsty. "I have discussed this with my partner and there are obviously a number of factors at play here."

"I don't see how, I grew up here" Ed stated.

Officer O'Neill sighed "be that as it may the law states that you do not have an automatic right to the property in question. That's for the lawyers to decide. Given the serious nature of the allegations of historic **** as well as two witnesses accusing of what at best can be described as voyeurism" the Officer paused "we are placing you under arrest"

"Yes!" Idris exclaimed

"But they're lying..." protested Ed

"It's a serious allegation with a witness to the charge of voyeurism. It's their word against yours" Officer Dela Cruz offered.

Officer O'Neill stepped towards Ed, he defensively took a step backwards.

Officer Dela Cruz held a hand out "Sir, this is happening, please do not resist."

Officer O'Neill approached Ed who was stunned and stood emotionless while his hands were handcuffed behind his back. "Thank you, Sir" Officer O'Neill offered as he took Ed towards the door.

"Wait, let me get this on camera" Kirsty yelled.

"Finally some justice for the good guys!" Idris exclaimed.

Ed hung his head as Officer O'Neill guided him forward. They escorted him to their car and when Ed looked back at the house he can grown up Idris was standing in the doorway in his underwear with his arm around Kirsty who was indeed filming him being arrested.

Ed sat stoically in the back of the police car as they drove him to the station. "How long will this take?" he asked.

Officer O'Neill grinned at him in the mirror "for a young pretty boy like you it'll feel like a lifetime...."
