Bounding out of the deck into cover besides the augmented captain, you take in the scene for a moment. She's clutching an automatic rifle in both hands, occasionally firing bursts into the treeline besides the boat.

You consider the likely options; either this is some kind of psychotic break, or she's firing at something for a reason.

Narrowing your eyes and triggering your enhanced senses, you analyze her fire-zone for movement. An instant passes, another blurt of gunfire and a curse from the woman, and you spot something moving, fast, in the same direction as the ship. The foliage prevents you from getting an accurate fix on what exactly it is.

After a quick glance into the bridge, you spot a small arms locker, already unlocked and opened. You vault into the command room and sweep a shotgun into your hands. If anything's going to present a threat to the ship it's gonna need to get close, and you'll be ready for it.

Weapon in hand, you shout out to Isabel, who seems to be hurriedly taking cover in the cabin besides you, looking down the river to a bridge crossing the river.

So that's their plan then. Good timing.
