Is this strip really necessary?

Buffy looked down at the **** body of the woman called Faith Lehane and proceeded to drag her into the house. She knew that she was probably better off leaving her where she had been and then calling the police but there was no way Buffy was summoning the cops to her house as long as she was naked.

Speaking of which...

Since she had to tie up Faith anyway, why not take her clothes? Faith wasn't likely to need them and it would certainly discourage her from going anywhere if she ever broke free of her bonds.

No, wait, thought Buffy. What was she thinking? Faith never seemed to be the type to be discouraged by a little bit of nudity. That was more her thing.

Faith was always going to act differently than Buffy even if she woke up tomorrow with blonde hair and a more Buffy-like figure. That was just how she was.

Yet still...

Buffy had to tie her up, anyway. And she really needed to put on some clothes.

So Buffy proceeded to unbutton Faith's blouse, silently praying all the while that she could get Faith undressed and tied up before her mother returned home. Then she unzipped Faith's pants and slid them down her legs. Next came her underwear. Buffy had no intention of putting on Faith's black underpants but she took them off of Faith all the same. Faith's black bra -- even though it was hardly Buffy's style -- she took off too and then put on her own chest.

Then Buffy proceeded to put on Faith's pants and blouse. They were a little loose in some places -- after all, Faith did tend to be a bit more curvy than Buffy -- but in the end, they fit Buffy far better than she thought they would.

Then she got out some rope she had found in the basement and some shackles she had received from Willow after Oz had left her and for a final touch, she placed a handkerchef in Faith's mouth so that she could not scream for help. After that, Buffy tied Faith up, put shackles on her wrists, and then carried her upstairs where she dumped her on the floor of her bedroom.

Then Buffy stood up and contemplated calling Giles. No, she thought, it was probably better if she went to Giles and explained the situation in person. She really did not want to stay here and risk getting into another petty argument with her mother until the situation with Faith cleared up. Hopefully when it was all over, her mother would understand why Buffy had disobeyed her rules.

She looked down again at the **** body of Faith Lehane and tried to suppress the weird feeling that she got in her chest whenever she looked at her. Was that the same type of feeling that Willow got when she looked at me? Buffy thought.

No matter. Faith was the enemy and Faith had to be dealt with. And Buffy had the feeling that she was better off leaving the house before her mother got home anyway. Not that she was sure why she had that feeling. Despite everything that had happened these past few days, Buffy still believed that she could count on her mother to back her up on serious stuff like this. After all, it was not like her mother was another Catherine Madison.
