Is this a dress which I see before me?

Three days later in Castle Dracula:

Jane Harker could not believe it. After all the time the three weird girls had kept her naked save for a rag they had placed in her womanhood during her cycle --and of course, the black leather collar with the silver bell attached to it -- she finally had a chance to put on a dress. Or did she?

Don't be foolish, Jane, she thought. There's a perfectly good dress lying on the castle floor in front of you and no one around for miles around to prevent you from putting it on. Granted, it seemed a bit tasteless to wear a dress without underwear and she would have preferred that the dress had been a different color than green but still beggars can't be choosers. And the castle doors were unlocked so perhaps if she put on the dress and ran really fast...

But she tried running before and the three girls had caught her before she got five feet out the door. And she had tried that before the day before that and again they had caught her. And each time they punished her more and more severely -- even though she had been running in the nude. So if they punished her that much for trying to run away in the nude, how badly would they treat her if she tried to run away with clothes on?

Oh, she didn't even want to think about it.

True, every so often they would let her go out and run around the castle. But they were quick to punish her if she did not go back inside after that. And if they didn't punish her, then the wolves would come out and make sure she had no place to go save back inside the castle.

But they're not around this time. In fact, they're probably asleep. So if I grab the dress and put it on really fast...

No, thought Jane. Not this time. This time was obviously a trap. They wanted her to think that they were asleep. Or in another part of the castle. Or somewhere else.

No, they were obviously watching her from secret to see what would she do. To see if she would be a good girl -- and reject the dress. Or to see if she would be a bad girl -- and put it on.

She didn't want to keep on being naked. She felt like an animal. But the girls had given her ****. And now that relief for her nakedness seemed so close...

But no. She did not want to be punished again. Not by them. Not by anyone.

And there was only one way she could avoid punishment that she could see.

So Jane Harker knelt down and gently picked up the green dress. And then immediately tore it into little pieces.

It was not easy to do so. But every time she thought about giving up, she remembered the last beating she had received from the girls. And the spanking. For some odd reason, they loved to give her spankings.

Then at last, there was nothing left of the dress save a pile of rags, each of which was barely the size of a handkerchief.

As Jane stepped away from the pile of rags, she once again looked around for the weird girls. But she saw no one. Yet she was sure they were there. They had to be.

Then Jane wearily sat down and leaned against a wall.

As Jane closed her eyes and murmured something about having proved herself a good girl, one of the weird girls who had been watching her in secret turned to her red-headed companion Barbara and asked, "Is she ready yet?"

"Not yet," answered Barbara. "But what's the hurry anyway? It's not like we're likely to have any surprise visitors to this place."
