"...yeah? What of it?" Bakugo asked, turning a flat glare towards Endeavor.

Endeavor smirked, and stated, "You have a powerful Quirk and have some skill. You'll make a fine test for him. At least until he fights that that boy with the strength boosting Quirk. It will be a trial run for how he would fare against All Might when he reaches his peak." Bakugo's eye twitched. He was being taken lightly. Seen as just a stepping stone, and not even the biggest one for Todoroki.

"...is that what you think?" Bakugo growled. Endeavor continued, completely ignoring the fury Bakugo was having simmer.

"Indeed. Though he is currently going through a bit of a... Rebellious phase. But you might just have what it takes to push him to use his fire. If you pull that off, I can offer you an internship in my agency after the Festival," Endeavor offered, certain Bakugo would take the offer. After all... Who wouldn't want an internship under the Number 2 Hero? One of the top ten. Only way that could be topped is if All Might himself offered an internship.

So it came as a total shock when Bakugo didn't even hesitate to let out a humorless laugh. "Fuck no. I wouldn't want an internship offered by a bitter, defeated, loser," he answered in a scathing tone.

"...what did you just say to me?" Endeavor asked, absolutely flabbergasted at the sheer cajones on Bakugo. His Quirk flared slightly, increasing the temperature in the hallway.

"You heard me," Bakugo snorted, a little intimidated, but far too prideful to show it. "I know all about your history with Icy Hot," he added, turning away. "I know you had him specifically because you didn't have what it takes to become the number 1 with All Might around, so you gave up and decided to live vicariously through your kid. "Endeavor," my ass. Change your Hero name to "Dropout.""

"You cocky little shit!" Endeavor snarled, clearly enraged. "You think you can talk to me like that!?"

Bakugo snorted. "I just did. And just so you know, we do agree on one thing. I WILL get Icy Hot to use his flames when we fight. But I'm not doing it for you. I'm doing it because when I beat him, I want him to be fighting me at his best. I'm going to prove without any room for doubt, that I'm going to be the number 1. So take your internship offer, and stick it where the sun doesn't shine." With that, he walked off, leaving Endeavor seething behind him, though the number 2 "Hero" was hopeful that Bakugo would get Shoto using his fire... And of course, partly hoping Shoto fried the little shit as well.

Izuku watched along with Momo, Setsuna and Ochaco as Iida and Mei were about to face off, not even noticing as Bakugo returned. Iida had shown up wearing a bunch of Support Gear that Mei had provided, and after some debate, it was allowed. "...why do I feel like Iida just got played?" he asked.

Setsuna snorted. "Because he clearly just did."
