Is Lauren going crazy?

Lauren reluctantly walked outside, where Dennis waited in his convertibility. Sighing, Lauren got into the passenger seat as he started driving.

They drove in silence for a moment, before Dennis turned to Lauren.

"Something on your mind?" Dennis asked.

"I just... I don't understand what's happening!" Lauren said. "These embarrassing disasters keep happening, and I look so different day to day! I feel like I'm going crazy!"

Dennis felt a pang of guilt. Perhaps he'd gone too far. Sure, he was having fun, and Lauren had only brought this on herself, but he wasn't trying to make the girl feel insane. Dennis contemplated for a moment- should he tell her what's been happening, about his powers?
