Invited to a pool party

Dennis could tell this little encounter was coming to an end. Everyone had enjoyed their laugh at Lauren, they had even snapped a few photos. Now they were going to continue on their way. Only Dennis didn't want this to end!

I wish they would invite us where they were going Dennis thought, knowing it would now happen. And I wish they were going to a pool party!

"Hey, we're going to a pool party." Charlotte said suddenly, turning to Dennis. "You guys should come!"

Dennis glanced at Lauren. Her wide eyed expression clearly indicated she didn't want to come. Then he turned back to Charlotte.

"Great! We'd love to." Dennis said.
