"Cosmic rays altered Susan Storm on a cellular level, granting her the ability to generate impenetrable force fields and to make herself fade from sight in an instant. Despite her frequent lack of visibility, it has always been perfectly clear that Sue is the force holding her family - the Fantastic Four - together.

After the Timestream Entanglement, the Invisible Woman has taken full advantage of her powers, using stealth to explore locations too dangerous for her fellow heroes, especially going on rescue missions for civilians trapped by the creatures of the night."

Hero, scientist, mother, wife, Dr. Sue Storm-Richards lives a very busy life after having gone on mission to space with her then boyfriend, Reed Richards, and being exposed to cosmic rays. All four members of this expedition were granted unique abilities, with Sue's being the ability to generate shields that bend the light around them. These shields can be used both offensively and defensively and grant Sue to ability to turn her and her allies invisible. Acting as both the heart and also likely strongest member of Marvel's First Family, Sue finds herself and her team trapped within a vampire infested New York City.
