Investigating

Shelly was a paranormal investigator, or at least she said she was one. She didn't actually believe in the super natural but she sure did take advantage of those who did believe in it. Shelly went across the country visiting incidents of paranormal activity and "fixing" them for whoever owned the building that she was hired to help at. It was an easy way for her to make a profit.

Today she was tasked to remove a cursed from one of the busiest hotels in America. Apparently it had a haunted elevator that when people entered it, they ended up losing something. It was usually something like a wallet, or a watch, or someone's cellphone. To Shelly this sounded more like there a thief roaming around instead of some kind of ghost, but she would still look into that. And by that, she meant wasting several hours doing nothing of use, acting like she solved the owner's issue, and then overcharge him. Simple as that. But she might as well enter the elevator anyways just to check it out.

Shelly pressed the button and stepped into the elevator, pressing one of the buttons to send up to the top floor. She wasn't staying at the hotel, so she didn't have a room to go to, so she just planned to walk down the hallways until she got bored and decided to leave.

But little did Shelly know that the elevator was in fact cursed and was about to steal something of value off of Shelly.
