Investigate

You decide that checking it out might be worthwhile, after all nothing ventured nothing gained. You take a right turn off of the beaten path away from the bustling noise of the crowd and head between the two misshapen buildings both painted in what seems like the darkest black paint you've ever seen. The shadows that they cast seem to be just as dark as the building themselves and as you move closer a chill runs up your spine. Standing just in front of where the shade meets the light you pause before steeling yourself to enter. Finally you go for it and enter the alleyway. Lucky for you, a flashlight is something you brought. With a flick of the switch a bright light shoots out and brightens up some of the area. The darkness still swallows most of the light, but its at least enough to see a few feet ahead. Moving along you notice piles of white thread along the ground and also stuck to various brick and metal attachments to the sides of the buildings. You start to panic a little when you realize it could only be from one thing...a spider.
