Investigate

Figuring this was another zombie, but unlike the incubus and the boomer, Freya moved to investigate. Though her mate moved to follow, she could tell he was unhappy with her choice, by the tensing in his muscles.

As the three moved down the hall, back past the stairs toward an intersection, the boomer followed moseying behind them without a care in the world. Rounding the corner, she spotted the source of the growling, as the creature emitted another one seeing them.

Dressed in jeans, and a black button up shirt, the dark skinned male, crawled inhumanly across the carpeted hall way. Though he wore sneakers, they seem to arch more like a feral animal. His dark eyes were like looking into the abyss, and were curtained by short neat dread locks that swayed in front of his feral face. His very human teeth gleamed in white contrast to his dark skin. He was likely early twenties, but he was very handsome

Again her mate tensed prepared to defend his mate if need be. While the zombie before them reacted to her mate, by hunkering lower into its crouch, the boomer seem not to even notice the interaction.
