Investigate the tunnel of vines

Just because you had a difficult start to your day on Monster Island doesn't mean your can ignore your instincts as monster huntress. That tunnel the vines have created by weaving together looks planned. Something is going on at the other end of the tunnel and you aim to find out. As you advance towards the dark tunnel the rustling sounds grow quiet. You carry the flare pistol like a weapon and advance into the darkness. You step gingerly over the vines covering the floor.

The tunnel gets narrower and narrower. You can see a faint light ahead and hear a straqe sound, like an animal moving. A big one. Wondering if you should consider your escape route you turn back and are shocked to see that the tunnel has closed behind you. The vines that compose the walls of the tunnel have been knitting together and sealing you up with each step you take. You can see the vines writhing and tightening up around you and you realize that if you stand still they'll weave all around you.

"Oh, bugger," you whisper.

It would seem you are trapped. You have no way left to go but forward, towards the light and the sound and out of the contracting tunnel.

The room ahead is revealed as the seed laboratory, where potting material is prepared for the greenhouse. Like the greenhouse it is completely changed. The glowing grow lamps are visible, but every other surface has been covered with vines, including the ceiling. All of the vines weave together at the mound of a huge, green plant, almost like a gourd as big as a car. You eye it warily, particularly the vines as big and thick as your thigh that are coiled at the base of this plant.

There's something else strange. Six-foot plots of rich, black potting soil are arranged around the plant like graves. You approach the plant and the strange graveyard and gasp as you see a hand reaching out of one of the graves. You quickly take hold of it and begin clearing dirt. Slowly a familiar figure emerges - Miss Becky Hamilton, the Paisley professor of botany. Her plump body is nude, her big breasts emerging from the soil first. Her flesh is cool to the touch and tinged oddly green.

"Becky?" you whisper. "Are you alright?"

You clear away more of the dirt from her naked body and reveal her bare mons. Her little quim is stuffed with a bundle of white tendrils and you realize more emerge from her arse. As you pull her up out of the dirt you see that these pale tendrils are roots!

Suddenly, Becky's eyelids fly open and she looks at you with milky yellow eyes. There is an evil grin on her face. Her hair, once blond, is now pale green and leafy. It almost looks like parsley! She's turned into a plant! You try to take a step away, but her hands grab your wrists with surprising strength.

"What are you doing? Let go of me!"

There is a groan and a shifting behind you. You crane your neck to see what is happening and realize the huge plant is turning. It reveals an immense yellow flower with a soft, fleshy brown interior, like a vast sunflower. Worse, the thick vines around its base begin to move and the green flesh retracts from the tips of each, revealing ribbed yellow cones like big carrots. They drip with sap and align so that all are pointed at you.

You recall the flare pistol in your hand and realize you only have a moment to act before you are attacked. You could shoot Becky and hope she releases you so you can fight off this plant or you can shoot the plant itself and hope it is flammable enough to be hurt by the flare.
