Investigate the Clattering
The Clinking of something makes your ears twitch again, and you can't help but swivel in that direction.
You wonder what's making them, it it's some kind of beast or perhaps it's adventurers.
Inside of you you feel a fierce curiosity burn, but at the same time it wars with caution and shyness.
Your ears perk up as you hear a distinct clinking. Did you just hear coins?
Slowly you approach the noice. picking your way up a hill on a veritable mountain of junk, broken furniture, old pieces of demolished rotten buildings, long decomposed food and...other things you don't want to think about.
It's precarious, but your new instincts are inclined towards stealth and you manage to make your way to the top of the pseudo hill and slowly peek over it to see what is happening in the valley down the other side.
Who or what is making the noice?
You are an individual of a poor house who is exploring the revolting swamp where the kingdom dumps all its waste and anything else disgusting. They call it he CessPonds. Somewhere within lies the treasure of a careless nobleman who' chest of gold and jewels was mistakenly lost, but many nasty and strange things call this place home. Any number of them could quickly end your quest. Can you make it through the swamp and retrieve the riches or become another victim of the CessPond's inhabitants? That's up to you.
