Introductions
It was non-stop. The hatred. The anger, the disgust, the violence. The X-Men had saved these very people so many times, whether they knew it or not, and yet things never seemed to improve.
Even now, people matched the streets in protest of their very existence... And that was when they were feeling "peaceful."
Saving these people rarely earned the X-Men any recognition, and silencing them, as Magneto would advocate for, would only fan the flames. No, they needed a new approach, a new statement...
And the perfect volunteer.
"There's one of the Muties now!" One of the protesters declared, calling attention to the sky just as Ororo descended from the heavens! In an instant, countless eyes turned in her direction. Yelling, hurling both insults and things like bottles and garbage...
Which Storm blocked with a wave of her hand and a forceful breeze. She looked out at the crowd, these people that wouldn't hesitate to hurt her... And smiled.
"People-- Everyone! Please. Give me just a moment of your attention."
She certainly had their attention, but having them actually hear her was another matter. She descended onto the stage that'd been set up for Anti-Mutant speeches, only furthering people's anger. Cameras began rolling, and Ororo saw her own beautiful visage appear on the electronic billboards lining the city square.
"Many of you know me as Storm. A founding member of the X-Men. To others, I am a queen, or a goddess-- And to the majority of you in front of me, I am something to look down on. Unnatural."
The crowd increased in volume, which one might have assumed impossible until this point. Arguing against her titles, but agreeing with her final claim. She continued, her voice booming like the thunder she often commanded.
"But above all of that-- I am Ororo Munroe. I'm thirty-two years old. I like tea, and thunderstorms, and animals, and spicy food."
This... Seemed to catch some people off guard. Enough to get some attention. But this introduction was only the start.
"My hair is entirely natural, and I take great pride in it, as my friends can attest." Ororo continued. But as she spoke, with such calm sincerity, her hands began to move. That action was alone to make some nervous. But rather than summoning the weather...
She began undoing her lavish outfit.
"I wake up with the sunrise-- Though, with the people I live with, sleeping in is rarely an option." She chuckled. As she undid her top, the yelling came undone as well. There was no seductive flourish, but there was no hesitance either.
Storm simply undressed, as if she were about to step into the shower after a long day. Carefully placing her garments aside.
"Stress relief is also important to me. I indulge in nature walks, massages, and pleasure myself most evenings, assuming I don't have a partner to join me..."
Ororo slipped out of her tight pants, and lowered the lacy white underwear that contrasted with her deep dark skin. She placed it aside, and as she stood completely nude, before hundreds of people, she took a breath and smiled.
"I have... Talents, much like all of you, and my skills can be frightening. But if you would look past that, and instead look at me... All of me... You'll see that I'm a simple woman.
One with nothing to hide."
